In this critical role, Mr. Shah will be responsible for expanding Nanostone’s role as a supplier of ultrafiltration for pretreatment of desalination plants with an initial focus on the Middle East. He will be working from an office in Dubai, UAE but will have broad responsibility for the desalination segment beyond the region.
Prior to joining Nanostone, Aatman spent over ten years in the water industry with the last six in the Middle East. He held roles in Design, Applications, Sales & Business development at Veolia-Doshion & VA Tech Wabag and as a General manager at Water Bird Water Treatment. He holds a master’s degree in Water and Wastewater Engineering from Loughborough University in the UK and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Gujarat University in India. Imran Jaferey, Chief Commercial Officer, states “Aatman will play a critical role in driving the growth of Nanostone especially as we develop applications to improve the efficiency and productivity of desalination facilities. His experience in the Middle East and knowledge of the industry will enable his and our success as drive our business in the region.”
